COFFS HARBOUR 2020 EVENT ONLY ....
As of Monday, March 16, 2020 the Federal Government has issued a warning advising people to avoid mass gatherings of 500+ people as announced at 4pm today. (13/3/20)
Due to your AMAZING overwhelming response, Obstacle Hell Coffs Harbour 2020 has reached attendance numbers far exceeding that limit; in fact currently there are over 1200+ excited competitors ready to tackle our company’s first ever event in Coffs.
After months of hard work, with a heavy heart we must announce that our 2020 event planned for Saturday March 22 has had to be postponed. As you’re aware this is in no-way our decision, and I am personally shattered, my team is shattered, and I know that many of you will also be shattered.
Our installation team, most of whom are already in Coffs Harbour, was to commence the week-long installation of obstacles tomorrow morning. I have just had the dreadful task of informing them about the latest update on CO-VID 19 and am now arranging their transportation home.
THIS IS NOT A CANCELLATION … This is a postponement; meaning a new date will be advised as soon as we know we can proceed, which of course will be when the 500+ ruling has been lifted. Hopefully we will soon have some light at the end of the tunnel with this virus so we can lock in the new date for an event before the end of July.
We have been in cyclones, storms, hail and floods with Obstacle Hell and I am sure it’s not only me who is gobsmacked at the events occurring, not only here on our back doorstep, but all around the world.
YOUR TICKETS ARE VALID FOR OUR NEXT EVENT … Please do not worry about your tickets, they will be 100% honoured at our next event and as soon as the new date is confirmed you will be personally contacted by either myself or one of my office team members.
Once again, I sincerely apologise. However, as I’m sure you will appreciate, this is entirely out of my control.
